Shipping Policy

 

This Shipping Policy explains how RudraSetu processes, dispatches, and ships orders placed through our website.

This policy covers:

  • shipping charges,
  • order processing,
  • dispatch timelines,
  • delivery timelines,
  • COD verification,
  • address accuracy,
  • courier handling, and
  • shipping-related delays.

This policy does not govern cancellations, returns, refunds, or replacements. Those matters are covered under their respective separate policies.

 


 

2. Shipping Charges

RudraSetu offers free shipping on all products.

Any special handling charges, if applicable to a specific case or service, will be communicated separately before processing.

 


 

3. Order Processing and Dispatch

Prepaid Orders

Prepaid orders are generally dispatched without call or message confirmation.

Orders placed before 12:00 PM are usually dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM are generally dispatched by the next working day at the latest, subject to stock availability, operational conditions, and verification where required.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

COD orders are dispatched only after order verification.

To confirm COD orders, RudraSetu may use:

  • phone call verification,
  • WhatsApp confirmation,
  • AI-assisted calling tools, and/or
  • human support agents.

We may also contact you in case of:

  • incomplete address,
  • unclear landmark details,
  • unreachable phone number,
  • suspected incorrect order details, or
  • any issue affecting successful delivery.

These verification steps help reduce failed deliveries and Return-to-Origin cases, and support more responsible and sustainable shipping practices.

If a COD order cannot be verified, RudraSetu reserves the right to delay, hold, or cancel dispatch.

 


 

4. Working Days and Non-Shipping Days

RudraSetu does not ship on Sundays.

Any order placed after 12:00 PM on Saturday will generally be processed on Monday, subject to operational conditions and public holidays.

Orders may also be processed later than usual during festivals, holidays, high-order-volume periods, or operational disruptions.

 


 

5. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery time is generally 3 to 10 days, depending on the destination pincode and courier serviceability.

These timelines are estimates only and may vary based on:

  • location,
  • courier network coverage,
  • remote-area serviceability,
  • weather,
  • transport disruptions,
  • public holidays,
  • local restrictions,
  • peak shipping periods, or
  • other factors beyond our control.

RudraSetu does not guarantee exact delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

 


 

6. Delivery Partners and Courier Responsibility

Delivery is handled through third-party courier and logistics partners.

Once an order is dispatched, the movement and final delivery of the shipment are managed by the courier partner. While RudraSetu does not directly control courier operations or transit delays, we treat such issues with priority and actively escalate shipping concerns with the delivery partner wherever reasonably possible.

RudraSetu shall not be held directly responsible for delays caused solely by third-party logistics providers, provided that the order was processed and handed over for shipping within our normal operational timelines or within a reasonably extended timeline due to circumstances beyond our control.

 


 

7. Address Accuracy and Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including:

  • full name,
  • mobile number,
  • house/flat/building details,
  • street/locality,
  • city,
  • state,
  • pincode, and
  • any landmark, where applicable.

Incorrect, incomplete, or unverifiable address details may result in:

  • dispatch delay,
  • failed delivery,
  • extra verification,
  • non-shipment, or
  • return of the parcel by the courier partner.

RudraSetu will not be responsible for delivery issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

 


 

8. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, shipping confirmation and tracking details may be shared through available communication channels, including SMS, WhatsApp, email, or other applicable methods.

Tracking updates depend on the courier partner’s scanning and system updates and may not appear instantly after dispatch.

 


 

9. Delivery Attempts and Failed Delivery

Courier partners usually attempt delivery based on their own service process and policies.

A shipment may remain undelivered or may be returned if:

  • the customer is unavailable,
  • the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete,
  • the customer is unreachable,
  • COD verification is not completed,
  • delivery is refused,
  • repeated delivery attempts fail, or
  • the area is temporarily non-serviceable.

In such cases, RudraSetu may assist in coordinating with the courier partner where reasonably possible, but final delivery is subject to courier feasibility and customer responsiveness.

 


 

10. Delays Beyond Our Control

Shipping and delivery may be delayed due to events beyond RudraSetu’s reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • weather disruptions,
  • natural disasters,
  • strikes,
  • public holidays,
  • transport interruptions,
  • government restrictions,
  • local law-and-order situations,
  • technical issues,
  • courier operational delays, or
  • other force majeure events.

In such cases, RudraSetu will make reasonable efforts to support the shipment process and share updates where available, but such delays shall not be treated as a breach of this policy.

 


 

11. High-Risk, Suspicious, or Unverifiable Orders

For security, fraud prevention, operational efficiency, and reduction of failed deliveries, RudraSetu reserves the right to:

  • request additional confirmation before dispatch,
  • hold an order for verification,
  • decline COD dispatch for certain orders,
  • cancel or refuse shipment of suspicious or unverifiable orders, or
  • request alternative payment or address clarification before shipping.

This may apply especially where:

  • repeated failed deliveries are associated with an address or number,
  • order details appear inconsistent,
  • the customer is unreachable, or
  • there is reason to suspect misuse or fraudulent activity.
