Refunds and Return Policy

This policy explains RudraSetu’s rules regarding:

  • refunds,
  • returns,
  • replacements, and
  • exchanges

for products purchased through RudraSetu.

This policy does not govern order cancellations. For cancellations, please refer to our separate Cancellation Policy.

 


 

2. General Policy Position

At RudraSetu, we generally do not accept returns and do not offer refunds as a standard remedy.

Where a genuine issue is verified under this policy, RudraSetu’s primary resolution is replacement / exchange, subject to the conditions below.

Refunds are not ordinarily provided except:

  • where specifically stated in this policy,
  • where RudraSetu determines a refund is appropriate in its sole discretion, or
  • where required under applicable law.

 


 

3. 3-Day Replacement / Exchange Policy

RudraSetu offers a 3-day replacement / exchange policy only in the following cases:

A. Wrong Item Received

If you receive a product different from what you ordered, you may request a replacement / exchange.

B. Defective or Damaged Item Received

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged at the time of delivery, you may request a replacement / exchange.

In both cases, the issue must be verified through a clear unboxing video.

 


 

4. Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement

For claims under the 3-day replacement / exchange policy, a clear and complete unboxing video is mandatory.

The video must:

  • begin before the package is opened,
  • clearly show the sealed parcel from all sides,
  • clearly show the shipping label,
  • clearly capture the opening of the package, and
  • clearly show the product received inside.

If the unboxing video is missing, incomplete, edited, interrupted, unclear, or does not properly establish the issue, RudraSetu reserves the right to reject the claim.

 


 

5. Time Limit for 3-Day Claims

You must raise the replacement / exchange request within 3 calendar days of delivery.

Requests made after 3 days from the date of delivery may not be accepted under this policy.

 


 

6. Returns Policy

RudraSetu generally does not accept returns on delivered products.

A return may be requested or accepted only where:

  • RudraSetu has approved a replacement / exchange claim and asks the customer to return the original item, or
  • return is otherwise required under applicable law.

If RudraSetu asks for the original product to be returned as part of an approved claim, the customer must follow the return instructions shared by our team.

Products sent back without prior approval or instruction from RudraSetu may not be accepted.

 


 

7. Refund Policy

RudraSetu generally does not offer refunds on delivered products.

Where a customer raises a claim under this policy, the normal resolution is replacement / exchange, not refund.

Refunds, if any, may be considered only:

  • where expressly approved by RudraSetu,
  • where a payment-specific situation is covered below, or
  • where required under applicable law.

Partial Prepaid with Cash On Delivery

For orders placed under Partial Prepaid with Cash On Delivery, the nominal fee charged at the time of placing the order is non-refundable.

In case such an order is marked RTO (Return to Origin), the partially prepaid amount will not be refunded, but the customer may utilize that amount toward placing a future order with RudraSetu, subject to verification by our team.

 


 

8. Exchange / Replacement Process

If a valid claim is approved, RudraSetu may provide:

  • a replacement of the same product,
  • an exchange for the correct product, or
  • another appropriate replacement-based resolution, depending on the issue.

Replacement / exchange approval is subject to RudraSetu’s review and verification.

RudraSetu reserves the right to:

  • review unboxing videos, product photographs, and supporting proof;
  • request additional information;
  • reject unsupported, late, unclear, or unverifiable claims; and
  • decide whether the request qualifies under this policy.

Please do not send any product back unless instructed by our support team.

 


 

9. Cases Not Eligible for Refund, Return, Replacement, or Exchange

Claims will generally not be accepted in the following cases:

  • no required proof is provided;
  • the unboxing video is unclear, incomplete, edited, or does not establish the issue;
  • the request is raised after 3 days of delivery;
  • the product is damaged due to use, mishandling, improper storage, water exposure, pressure, impact, or other external causes after delivery;
  • there is change of mind;
  • there is dislike or personal preference issue;
  • there is expectation mismatch not involving wrong item, defect, or damage;
  • there are minor natural variations in color, texture, shape, pattern, finish, or appearance in natural or spiritual products.

 


 

10. Shipping and Handling for Approved Claims

For approved claims, RudraSetu may decide the process for collection, return, or dispatch of replacement goods.

Where RudraSetu requires return of the original item, the customer must follow the instructions shared by the support team.
