Cancellation Policy

 

This policy explains the rules for cancelling orders placed on RudraSetu.

This policy applies to all orders placed through our website, regardless of payment method.

 

 

2. Cancellation Window

Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched.

RudraSetu processes and dispatches orders quickly:

  • Prepaid orders may be dispatched same day or next working day
  • COD orders are dispatched after verification

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

 

 

3. How to Cancel an Order

To request a cancellation, you must contact RudraSetu through one of the following official channels:

You must share:

  • order number,
  • name used while placing the order, and
  • registered phone number or email.

Cancellation requests are processed only after verification by our team.

 

 

4. Cancellation Terms by Payment Type

A. Prepaid Orders

If a prepaid order is successfully cancelled before dispatch, RudraSetu may process the cancellation as:

  • store credit, or
  • refund to the original payment method,

at RudraSetu’s discretion, subject to payment gateway processing and verification.

 

 

B. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders with Partial Prepayment

For COD orders where a partial prepaid amount (deposit) is collected:

  • the deposit amount is non-refundable if the order is cancelled;
  • no refund, reversal, or compensation will be provided for this amount.

However, RudraSetu may allow the customer to utilize this amount for a future order, subject to internal verification.

 

 

C. COD Orders without Partial Prepayment

For COD orders with no upfront payment:

  • orders can be cancelled before dispatch without any cancellation charges.

 

 

5. Cancellation Charges

RudraSetu does not charge any cancellation fees where:

  • the order is eligible for cancellation, and
  • the cancellation request is made and approved before dispatch.

 

 

6. Important Notes

  • Cancellation requests raised after dispatch will not be accepted.
  • Orders that are already packed, processed, or handed over for shipping may not be eligible for cancellation.
  • During high-volume periods, dispatch timelines may be faster, reducing the cancellation window.
  • RudraSetu reserves the right to accept or reject any cancellation request based on order status and verification.
